I’ve been thinking about blog awards, and since I haven’t figured out how to post a badge that says, “Award Free Blog,” it’s time I wrote about this.
I was honored to receive an award a while back, but became overwhelmed by the task of nominating X number of people. It might be easier now that I have a bigger network, but there’s not enough time in the day, or night, to do all the things I’d like to do.
Though I enjoy blogging, reading other peoples’ posts, and the wonderful, supportive community here at WordPress, these things can take up a lot of time. I often find myself staying up too late reading and commenting when I have to go to work the next day.
I want to spend more time working on my book and other projects. I’m eager to get back into painting. I need to set blogging boundaries.
So, when it comes to awards, I’m just going to have to say no, but thank you.
I thought about dropping this blog, and focusing all my blogging time on my first blog, “Anything is Possible,” but sometimes there are things that fit better here.
My plan is to post on “Loving Me, Too” when I feel moved, whether that’s once a week, or once a month, and to keep posting at least a couple times a week on “Anything is Possible.”
Thanks so much for reading, and for commenting!
